New tools for health is a regional University and growth initiative into promoting the development of individually adapted solutions for health. The main areas of concentration include sport and exercise, personal health, distributed and personal care. Through regional investment it is hoped that we will gradually get closer to the large and growing world market in this field. Even today the prognosis hint that in the future there will be increased care in the home and personal care, however, there are at present few products and solutions suited to these areas. Therefore distributed care and personal care are two extremely interesting areas on which to focus.
